 Ms. Lana Nguyen has been teaching at Saint Polycarp Viet Namese School since 1994. Right now she is a principal of the Vietnamese school.

    Uyen, an former student commented about Ms. Lana Nguyen as a wonderful teacher (as in last year) and principle. Everyone at St. Polycarp in Vietnamese class respects and admires her. She has authority, but she doesn't use it to make the staff or students miserable. I thought she were a good teacher last year because she was strict and fun at the same time. I learned a lot from her. We all hope that she will continue being a great principle at the Vietnamese school.

    Teresa, a 1st grade teacher, said Ms Lana has many great qualities including dedication to her work, organized with a focus on every detail, and best of all.

    For Loan Nguyen, a really young teacher, “Being given the opportunity to cooperate alongside Ms. Lan Nguyen in the past few years has been a humbling and rewarding experience for me. It has been a genuine pleasure to be supervised by Miss Nguyen.  Throughout the many years teaching at VNSP, a nonprofit Vietnamese Bilingual School, I have witnessed Ms. Lan Nguyen’s hard work and dedication to her Vietnamese community.  With her enthusiastic spirit and great organizational skills, Ms. Nguyen is always on top of issues and has yet to be unprepared when a situation arises.  She is tough, straightforward, but diplomatic.  I especially admire Ms. Nguyen’s appreciation of school culture and a clear and vision of where the school is headed.  Whatever the occasion or task, I guarantee Ms. Nguyen would be able to deliver exceptional work.”

    Moreover, Mr. Khang Bao, a teacher of class 2A, said “From the interaction that I got with her every weekend at St.Polycarp Vietnamese school, I could easily say that she is a great leader.  She is a great leader becasue she is very decisive and caring.  The caring that she gave to all the teachers and students showed that she is appreciated of those around her, and all that she got in her life.  Her decision also made her a great leader because it showed that she knows what she is doing!!!”
